Foxes on Fire

Song of Solomon 2:15 says: “Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.”

What little foxes are in your vineyard ruining your crop?

Jealousy, comparison, lust, condemnation, anxiety: these are all things that ruin your livelihood. The enemy of your soul would love to cripple you. He would love to take a bat to your knee caps and get you from being a powerful threat to an incapacitated, broken down person with a victim mentality… with a defeated spirit.

No Way. Take that bat back to the little foxes who would take away emotional food/happiness/ mental well being/ provision for you and the children after you.

Pick up your bat. Go hunting. Love your vineyard. Song of Solomon also says: “my vineyard is mine to give.” Remember, your mind is your own. Your life is your own. Let’s take care of our vineyards/minds.

Condemnation is Satanic. It has nothing to do with God. To indulge in it is to allow the robbers into your temple. You know what Jesus did about that. He went outside and cut him a switch. Shut up. No way. Yes…

What is your switch?

For God has not given me a spirit of ________ fill-in-the-blank but of love, power and a sound mind. A sound mind.

He came that we may have life and life abundantly. And that means fellowship with Him and that means wholeness. Recharge those batteries with His love, with the fact that He adores you, died for you, and indwells you.

And, He gave you the keys to live free. It is for freedom Christ set us free.
